Homegrown Washington DC by the way of St. Catherine, Jamaica Joshua Headley, when he was young inherited his love of cooking from his mother who was creative in the kitchen and was a Chef managing hotel restaurants across the US. Joshua actually went to Cheyney University in Pennsylvania where he was a member of the track-team, DEX Business Club, Caribbean Students Association, and a Disc Jockey that played Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop, Top 40 music globally on an international platform during and after his college career. Joshua would jerk chicken to raise money for the CSA during homecomings and other on campus events gaining a major buzz on campus and to other universities within that area about the items he would jerk and grill. After graduating from college, he continued with his Disc Jockey career. Years after he took his culinary skills on a path spanning the local restaurant scene for 6 years. He loves both of his crafts and is passionate about his loves food and music. In 2018 he decided to combine those crafts Jerk N Vibes LLC was established.
